Stencil Creator
Turn a photo into a print-ready, multi-layer cut stencil. Import an image, set your layers and thresholds, then export as PNG, print-ready PDF, or cut-ready SVG, one file per layer. It runs entirely in your browser, free, with no signup and nothing to install.
Making airbrush stencils by hand
You do not need software to cut a usable stencil. Print the image at final size, trace it onto low-tack frisket film or thin acetate, and cut with a fresh blade on a self-healing mat. The two things that decide whether it works are bridges, the small uncut links that stop islands falling out, and how well the film seals at the edge. A stencil that lifts even slightly will let paint creep underneath and blur every edge on the piece.
Multi-layer stencils are the same idea repeated. Each layer covers one tonal band, sprayed lightest to darkest, with registration marks so the layers line up. That is the part that gets tedious by hand, and it is the part the Stencil Creator automates: it splits a photo into layers by luminosity and exports one cut file per layer.
The SVG export is cut-ready, so it goes straight to a vinyl cutter or craft cutting machine as well as to a blade and a mat.

Cutting the stencil is the easy half
What decides the result is everything after: how you seal the edge, the order you spray the layers in, and the pressure and thinning that stop paint creeping underneath. The Airbrush Technique Bible is the manual for that part, and it ships with an offline copy of this tool so it keeps working with no internet.
