How to use the airbrush troubleshooter
Pick the symptom you can actually see, spitting, spidering, bubbling in the cup, or nothing coming out at all, and the tool walks you through the causes in the order they are worth checking. It starts with the things that take seconds to rule out and only then moves on to stripping the airbrush down.
Most faults come back to five things: paint consistency, air pressure, a dirty nozzle, a damaged needle, or technique. That order is deliberate. A bent needle tip is the fault people reach for first and it is rarely the answer; paint that is slightly too thick is the answer far more often.
